Angela is a strategic leader with significant P&L operating responsibility, experienced in call center management, IT system development, accounting and financial reporting. She is currently the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at City of Hope, an independent medical research and treatment center. Earlier, she served as Chief Diversity Officer for Nielsen, and led the company to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign, DiversityInc and other industry organizations. Angela joined Nielsen in 2007 as Senior Vice President of Global Call Center Operations spanning the U.S., Europe and Asia. She chartered a major transformation that saved over $10M, exceeding customer service, financial and operational goals. Before working at Nielsen, Angela was Divisional Vice President of Inbound Service & Operations at Sears, where she generated call center operating efficiencies that saved more than $53M. Earlier, she held leadership roles at Alltel Communications and Vanguard Cellular Systems. Angela’s accomplished track record includes developing close-knit teams to accelerate sales and profit growth, enhance productivity and create business efficiencies.
