Maria is an operations executive who assesses business processes to improve quality, eliminate valueless complexity and drive effectiveness and efficiency. She guides companies in business process improvement and process redesign (BPI and BPR) as well as integration planning and governance. Maria’s extensive experience includes three years as the Global Integration Leader at Nielsen, where she was accountable for onboarding eight acquisitions worth $800M. She co-led the company’s $1.26B purchase of Arbitron, which yielded $150M in synergies. Prior to her time at Nielsen, Maria was Senior Vice President of BPI for Citi’s Consumer Division, and created an internal consulting practice that generated $100M by reengineering organizational processes for sustained efficiency and effectiveness. Before that, Maria spent 15 years leading transformation initiatives as a Master Black Belt at GE Healthcare, and as the Integration Leader at GE Hungary. There, she oversaw $1B in investments that generated $500M in tax and operational savings.
