Mitchell is a seasoned executive who leads businesses to embrace change and unlock their hidden value. As FCM’s Chief Executive Officer, he heads the firm’s strategy to support private equity investors and their portfolio companies in acquisitions, carve-outs and organizational optimization. For nearly three decades prior to founding FCM, Mitchell led technology transformations, fine-tuned operations and designed large organizations for iconic global enterprises. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Nielsen, where he created an organization of 44,000 people in 100+ countries that delivered $2.3B in savings and a 3x return on investment for the company’s owners. Before that, he was the Chief Information Officer of Citi’s North America Consumer division and delivered significant cost savings by capitalizing on regional synergies, simplifying technology and reengineering processes. Earlier, Mitchell held multiple leadership roles at GE, including global Chief Information Officer of the Healthcare, Employers Reinsurance and IT Services divisions.
